SageBizet Customers is a free credit-tab and debt tracker that lets a business charge sales to a customer’s tab from the POS, record payments against it, and see each balance and the total owed across all customers.
Each customer has a running balance built from their charges and payments, and the customer list shows the total outstanding across everyone — the figure a notebook never adds up for you.
At the POS, attach the customer and choose “On tab”. The sale is recorded like any other and the amount is added to that customer’s balance.
When a customer pays some or all of what they owe, record the payment and the balance updates. The record of charges and payments stays, so a disagreement can be settled from the history.
Log each time you call a customer, so you know who has been reminded and when — and nobody gets called three times in one day by three different staff.
Keep a name, phone number and a note for each customer, and attach them to sales at the till so you know who bought what.
