Clinic appointment and billing software for small clinics

Run the front desk of a small practice — the diary, the payments and the supplies cupboard — from one browser tab, alongside the clinical system you already use.

SageBizet is free, browser-based appointment and billing software for small clinics that books patients online by practitioner and room, records payments at reception, keeps patient balances and tracks consumables — it is not medical records software.

What goes wrong without a system

  • A reception phone that never stops

Most of the receptionist’s day goes on booking, moving and confirming appointments by phone, while patients wait at the desk to pay.

  • Diaries and rooms that clash

Two practitioners book the same treatment room, or a long procedure is squeezed into a slot that was never long enough, and the afternoon runs late for everyone.

  • Missed appointments

A patient who does not attend leaves a practitioner idle and another patient waiting longer for a slot, and without a record the pattern repeats.

  • Payments and balances on paper

Consultation fees paid in cash, by card or by mobile money, plus patients who pay later, end up in a receipt book that is hard to reconcile at the end of the day.

A day at your business, with SageBizet

Open to close — where each part of the system earns its place.
  1. 07:45

    Before the first patient

Open the cash drawer with the float. The front-desk view lists the day’s appointments by practitioner and room, including bookings patients made online.

  2. 08:30

    Morning clinic

Check patients in as they arrive. Service durations and buffer times keep a 45-minute session from overlapping the next booking in the same room.

  3. 10:00

    Phone and online bookings

Reception books callers into free slots with an availability check, and logs confirmation calls on the patient’s record. Online bookings arrive with the fields you require, such as phone number.

  4. 12:00

    Billing at the desk

Ring up the consultation and any products sold as one sale and record how it was paid — Cash, Card, Mobile or Other. A patient settling later goes On tab, and their balance is kept.

  5. 15:00

    Supplies

The low-stock list flags gloves, dressings and other consumables under their threshold, with a suggested order quantity based on how fast each is used.

  6. 18:00

    Close

Count the drawer against expected cash. Booking reports show the day’s appointments and no-shows; the dashboard shows takings for the day.

What SageBizet covers in a clinic, and what it does not

SageBizet is front-desk software: it handles the appointment diary, payments and supplies. It is not an electronic health record (EHR) or practice-management system for clinical work, and it does not hold diagnoses, treatment notes, prescriptions or test results. Clinics that keep clinical records use SageBizet beside that system, not instead of it.

Common questions

Is SageBizet free for a clinic?
Yes. SageBizet is free during early access for small clinics, with appointment booking, billing, patient balances and stock included, no credit card and no per-user fees.
Is SageBizet medical records or EHR software?
No. SageBizet handles appointments, payments and supplies for a clinic’s front desk; it does not store clinical notes, diagnoses, prescriptions or test results, which belong in a dedicated clinical records system.
Can patients book clinic appointments online with SageBizet?
Yes. A SageBizet clinic can have a public booking page where patients choose an appointment type and a free time, with the details you require such as phone number.
Can SageBizet manage several practitioners and rooms?
Yes. In SageBizet each room is a bookable resource and each appointment can be assigned to a team member, with availability checked so the same room is never double-booked.
Does SageBizet handle insurance billing?
No. SageBizet records how each payment was made — cash, card, mobile money or other — but does not submit insurance claims or process payments.
Can patients pay later in SageBizet?
Yes. A sale can be charged to a patient’s tab in SageBizet, which keeps a running balance from charges and payments and shows the total outstanding across all patients.
