Terms of service

The agreement for using SageBizet during early access, written to be read.

The service

SageBizet is a web application for running a business: point of sale, inventory, reports, bookings, an online store, cash drawer, expenses, customer tabs and team roles. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms. If you use SageBizet for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept them on its behalf.

Early access and price

SageBizet is in early access and currently free. Features may change, be added or be removed as the product develops. If paid plans are introduced, account holders will be told in advance and nothing will be charged without your agreement.

Your account

  • Keep your password private and give staff their own accounts rather than sharing one.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the roles you give your team.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without permission.

Your data

Your business records belong to you. You give SageBizet permission to store and process them only to provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to record your customers’ details and for using them lawfully. Owners can export their data at any time. How data is handled is set out in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use SageBizet to break the law, to sell illegal goods or services, to mislead customers, to send spam, or to interfere with the service or other businesses’ data. Accounts and published listings that do may be suspended or removed.

Payments and money

SageBizet records sales and how they were paid but does not process payments, hold funds or provide accounting, tax or legal advice. Figures in reports are calculated from what is entered; check them before relying on them for tax filings or financial decisions.

Availability

We work to keep SageBizet available and the data backed up, but during early access the service is provided as it is, without a guaranteed uptime. The till keeps recording sales on the device if the connection drops and syncs them afterwards; keep receipts or your own records for anything critical.

Limits of responsibility

To the extent the law allows, SageBizet is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits responsibilities that cannot be limited by law.

Ending use

You can stop using SageBizet at any time and ask for your account to be deleted by emailing amanuel.yizelkal.dev@gmail.com. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. If the service is ever discontinued, account holders will be given notice and time to export their data.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, the date above changes and account holders are told before the change takes effect. Questions: amanuel.yizelkal.dev@gmail.com.
