Free QR code menu generator
Scan for our menu
Made in your browser: nothing is uploaded or stored. The code opens your link for good, so if your menu moves to a new address you’ll need a new code. A SageBizet menu keeps one code while you change dishes, prices and photos, free.
A QR menu is a code on the table or counter that opens your menu on a guest’s phone; this free maker turns any menu link into a printable QR code in seconds, with no account.
How to make a QR code menu
| Step | What to do |
|---|---|
| 1. Put the menu online | A page on your website, a PDF in Google Drive or Dropbox, or a free SageBizet menu with photos and prices. |
| 2. Copy its link | Open it on your phone first: if the link works there, the code will too. |
| 3. Make the code | Paste the link above, add your business name and a line like “Scan for our menu”. |
| 4. Print and place it | At least 2.5 cm (1 inch) across, dark on white, on every table and at the counter. |
Test the printed code with two or three different phones before you print a batch. Glossy laminate can reflect light, so a matte finish scans more reliably under café lights.
Want guests to order from the table too? With SageBizet, a table’s QR code can take the order and send it to the bar and kitchen once staff confirm it — see SageBizet for restaurants.
Questions
- Is this QR menu generator really free?
- Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit; the code is made in your browser and nothing is stored on our side.
- Do these QR codes expire?
- No. The code holds your menu’s link itself, so it works as long as that link does. If the menu moves to a different address, make a new code.
- How big should a menu QR code be when printed?
- At least 2.5 cm (about 1 inch) across for a table card read from up close, and larger for a poster or window read from a distance. Dark on a white background scans best.
- Can I change my menu without reprinting the QR code?
- Only if the menu stays at the same address. Replacing a PDF usually changes its link. A SageBizet menu keeps the same address and QR code while you edit it.
- Can guests order from the QR menu?
- Not with a plain QR code to a PDF or web page. A SageBizet café or restaurant menu can take orders from a table’s QR code when table ordering is switched on.
